The Regulatory Policy Implementation Programme was mobilised to manage the implementation of a set of policies created by UK Regulatory Compliance which were published on 31 January 2017. The programme is led and sponsored in the 1st Line of Defence and reports to the head of transformation for UK Bank reporting to the CEO.
The key objectives of this important programme
confirmation and/or implementation of key controls to manage regulatory risk;
delivery of improved, risk based controls that will aid customer experience and start to help employee engagement;
establishment of a skilled group of risk and control owners across the 1LoD who can assess and manage risk.
This Senior Business Analyst role will support the Project Manager in the implementation across all business lines. The role holder must be able to support the Project Manager in providing business analysis and planning activities relating to the project. In particular the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and facilitating detailed gap analysis workshops, coordinating implementation work packages across multiple dependent workstreams and stakeholder groups, performing data analysis and manipulation (using MS Excel). Experience / Education
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability in business analysis (e.g. data analysis and manipulation, process mapping) and problem solving.
Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems
Strong communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations)
The role holder will have professional qualifications in Project Management e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP).
Excellent track record in delivery, typically in both execution and coordination roles
Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global environment is desirable
