This Performance Improvement Specialist position is an opportunity for someone with project management or business analyst experience to migrate into an operational role that is focused on regional process improvements to enhance member service level and overall financial performance of the organization. Take an active role in actualizing millions in organizational savings by driving performance gains across the region with focus on improving process, performance, quality, and staff productivity.

GROWING your current skillset by gaining exposure to regional performance initiatives within an integrated delivery system in a role that utilizes Lean Six Sigma toolsets as well as exposure to an agile IT movement.

Bachelor's degree in a Business, Information Technology or a related field.
5-8 years of work experience in healthcare industry operations, IT or project management.
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong technology background.
Strong communication and facilitation skills. Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization (both vertically and horizontally, and with technical and non-technical staff).
Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Previous experience supporting or leading process improvement initiatives in complex organizations. In-depth understanding of process redesign methodologies.
Strong understanding of business process management, workflows and integration methods and tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to quickly gain familiarity with business concepts, systems and workflows.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
Six Sigma Certified Green or Black Belt.
4-5 years of health plan experience with strong knowledge of claims and call center systems.
Familiarity with scalable technologies and platforms for managing health care processes.
