The University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy's Program Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU) is seeking an Organizational Health Program Director, with direct report to the Associate Director.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team on a collection of behavioral health focused initiatives on organizational health. The Program Director will oversee the design, implementation, and execution of funded research with a particular focus on utilizing an established framework for assessing organizational readiness to take on new health innovations. The Pharmacy & Therapeutics department receives funding from various entities and institutions for research in healthcare organizations. Many of these studies involve implementing and assessing the effectiveness of a behavioral health paradigm.
The Program Director will mentor research personnel in the development of program content and will provide direction for the program with insight from the Associate Director and Director. The Program Director will design and establish metrics for which to measure and evaluate the success of the funded initiatives and utilize metrics to identify opportunities for improvements.
The position requires the incumbent to work in a highly independent manner and have experience in management.

A degree in the health sciences and experience in organizational health is preferred. MBA or Master's degree in public health are applicable. Significant, relevant professional experience can be substituted for education requirement.
Strategic organizational and communication skills are essential.
