Senior Project Manager Construction - Orlando Orlando seeks to hire a Senior Project Manager Construction who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ. Facility Profile: Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,107-bed Florida Hospital Orlando, serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. Florida Hospital Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year. Department Profile: Logistics Operations provides the Florida Hospital Orlando Campus leadership a single point of contact for the procurement of capital equipment, equipment installation, space management, department remodeling, and disaster management. Our Medical Equipment and Project Management Office (MEPMO) works with leadership to help prioritize capital purchases and engineering projects while coordinating activities needed for equipment installation, department moves, remodeling, and multi-department projects. Work Hours/Shifts: Monday –Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Job Summary: The Project Manager Sr. works under the guidance of the Director on all assigned projects related to the campus, Health Village and the region. Projects are derived from the Facilities Review Activity (FRA), Engineering or directed by senior management. The Project Manager Sr. is responsible for the design of multiple projects as assigned, with or without consultants, interfaces with hospital clinical and engineering staff, manages code compliance, and completes the project. The Project Manager Sr. prepares budgets and estimates, expedites and distributes project information, and actively participates in project meetings. Responsibilities usually involve the management of employees of Florida Hospital (FH), consultant designers, contractors and often other individuals with expert skills in their field. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required: Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple small to mid-sized healthcare projects Knowledge of healthcare design and construction techniques Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contracts Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with and manage multi-faceted teams Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, SunPort, SQL, and Adobe Ability to and comfort in making presentations to management and customers Ability to establish and execute projects within budget and in a timely manner Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field AND Three years of project management experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar project management (e-builder) program and SQL database use in preparing and presenting reports and schedules to vendors, Project Coordinators (PCs) and the Director (Preferred) Knowledge of regulatory and state agency construction requirements (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or related healthcare field (Preferred) Experience with Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) state agency (Preferred) Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required: N/A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Project Management Institute (Preferred) Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates through behavior Florida Hospital's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organization's Performance Excellence Program Works closely with Director and Project Coordina
