This position will assist with planning and managing the delivery of business solutions utilizing industry-standard project management procedures and techniques that provide public facing, full function customer support. The position will also assist with establishing and incorporating internal processes, managing customer requirements and other administrative duties. Additionally, will provide customer technical solutions, onsite services, training and process evaluations. The position will be focused on assisting customers with project implementation, to include implementing Safety Vision products and building processes supporting the customer’s specific requirements. This position ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and other project participants. The Field Operations Project Manager will also oversee the company’s program’s field activities, monitors the functionality of equipment and ensures that field personnel perform duties in accordance with company goals. The position also develops goals for subordinates, makes real time decisions and provides updates to top leadership. This position is expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing and to initiate appropriate corrective actions. Responsibility also includes effective execution of project assignments and new product development support.
Assigns service projects, implementation and on-site activities.
Schedules onsite implementations and service-related sales orders with customers and internal stakeholders.
Provides face-to face, telephone and email support to customers (during planning and implementation)
Gather requirements from clients related to potential service projects.
Must be comfortable with handling multiple projects and assignments with strict deadlines
Perform on-site technical installation and training.
Maintain current knowledge of all Safety Vision products.
Travel as needed to customer sites to perform training, assistance and advisement.
Provide prompt and efficient field response to customer’s warranty needs on new product in the warranty period, liaising with Sales Department, Engineering and Operations groups.
Conduct all field service activities including scheduling, meeting customer needs and generating new business from product cross selling.
Actively manage revenue opportunities while effectively controlling expenses and assigned assets.
Responsible for working effectively with third party providers and client representatives.
Perform root-cause analysis and preventive measures for repetitive product failures. Analyze reasons / issues for missed targets and implement corrective actions.
Solve escalations resulting from employee related product problems.
Execute the performance management process which includes objective setting, development planning and reviews. Conduct individual and team meeting on a regular basis.
Plan and manage schedules of technicians to ensure we meet daily availability goals.
Promote and manage time- and- material activities; Mange expenses effectively (expense reports of department, parts and inventory).
Be responsible for physical assets including tools, inventory and service parts both loaned and assigned. Manage parts usage and service parts returns including surplus stock, loaned parts and adjustments. Contribute to the review of appropriate parts inventory levels.
Meet customer’s high expectations of economic and timely installation and repair of their equipment leading to further service and other business while working within parameters/objectives.
Review and sign off on large video system proposals prior to bid for accuracy.
Assist sales in large project presentations from technical standpoint.
Evaluate all specifications of contractual agreements are met.
Ensure effective engineering and Client communications.
Implement cost reduction planning for areas of responsibility.

Hands on technical experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2003, 2008, XP, Vista, 7, Exchange 2003/2007/2010, SQL server 2005/2008.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.

Experience with electronic components including camera systems, hard drives, computers and wireless technology
Hands on experience including LAN/WAN management, computer systems management, application management and cellular management.
