Manage a portfolio of projects as assigned by the Director PMO that are implemented via the IT&S Project Management Office (PMO). This position will consist of the following functions: *Creates and executes project work plans/schedules and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. *Identifies project resources necessary and partners with Resource Managers and Department Leads to assign individual responsibilities. *Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project and the affiliated scope. *Reviews deliverables and milestones prepared by team. *Effectively applies PMO methodology and enforces project standards. *Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. *Minimizes exposure and risk on project. *Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored in designated project folders according to the IT&S Project Management Guidelines. *Validate that project legal documents are completed and signed and available to applicable parties. Project Accounting *Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis. *Manages project budget and provides details to the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders. *Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project. *Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization. Communication *Facilitates team and vendor meetings. *Compiles standard project status report and reviews with project team and Stakeholders. *Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news. *Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors. *Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations. *Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion according to the IT&S Project Management Guidelines. *Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. *Coordinates and balances skills along with strengths and weaknesses of team members. *Conducts full tracking and mitigation of project issues and risks. *Partners with Project Sponsor and team to create measurable project goals and objectives. Technical Understanding *Possesses general understanding of technical lingo and drives the completion of technical diagrams and process flows via a partnership with the technical team. *Partners with technical team members to create a detailed technical analysis for the project. *Possesses a thorough understanding of IT capabilities. *Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. Education/Training/Certification/Licensure: *Minimum of 5+ years of project management or equivalent leadership experience. *Proven project planning and management experience. *Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices. *Ability to manage multiple projects across business units concurrently. *Proven accountability for and successful delivery of complex large scale projects. *Strong verbal and written communication skills. *Leadership and decision making skills that may be directed towards achieving efficient and effective delivery along with timely results. *Proven ability to implement projects on time and within budget. *Currently holds a PMP Certification or in the process of working towards obtaining one. *Experience in MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint, @Task, etc.
