We are currently recruiting for a Sr. Systems Analyst. Job Summary: Cedars Sinai's Enterprise Information Services (EIS) Department is seeking a talented individual with diverse technical and business skill sets to join an innovative team supporting a broad customer base in delivering technical solutions. From within the EIS department, under general supervision, supports various IT systems and is responsible for the implementation, integration, and maintenance of assigned system(s). Serve as the liaison with the functional department. Will focus on identifying opportunities for improving business's processes and using technology to enhance business operations, reduce costs and support the overall strategic direction of our enterprise. May design and develop new systems through software development and/or configuration or use existing systems in new ways to accomplish additional or different outcomes. Will leverage standard project and software development lifecycle methodologies to deliver solutions. Business areas supported include but not limited to Marketing and Development, Research and Academic Affairs, Financials, Corporate Compliance, Clinical Engineering, Human Resources and many clinical departments. Performs as liaison for EIS to the functional Department with the selected software and hardware throughout design, implementation and maintenance phases of the system. 2. Coordinates communications and collaborates with the functional department stake holders to establish project timelines and implementation milestones to achieve maximum utilization of available systems. Demonstrates ability to follow-up to implement, coordinate and complete these responsibilities accurately within established time frame. 3. Coordinates with internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope. Coordinates and participates in focused groups to standardize project intake, project tracking, process, and documentation. Collaborate with team members to maintain ongoing project portfolio of those projects that are active and inactive. 4. Conducts and leads project planning meeting and/or conference calls when required. Meetings include Steering Committee or other meetings with Senior Leadership. 5. Provides status reports and updates on aspects of the project as requested by project sponsors. 6. Coordinates the planning, requirements definition, system design, and implementation of all system applications in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders and concerned EIS teams. Clearly identifies decision points that must be achieved to maintain the project timeline. Facilitates and manages the re-engineering of systems and/or positions to maximize the benefits of automating department functions and meet client / user needs. 7. Establishes protocols and systems to ensure full integration of department processes, services and operations. Attains seamless exchange of information and functionality between all components of the system and user departments. Identifies the methodologies and approaches for providing solutions to existing and new departmental functions. Provides leadership and promotes effective collaboration and teamwork among individuals from multiple disciplines, and across the organization. 8.
