Are you sharp, organized, and eager to enhance your professional expertise? In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Work closely with a team of staff, member volunteers, and vendors to drive the development of continuing education programming and activities
Assist in crafting and submitting funding requests
Ensure projects are met on time, within budget, and to the high standards of the Academy
Recruit and manage subcontractors including instructional designers, medical writers, technology partners, and faculty reviewers
Coordinate with speakers, content creators, and evaluators
Provide and compile grant materials, track metrics, report on results
This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with some experience in project management to develop his or her skills and progress in the field. The previous holder of this position obtained the PMP credential while in the position through a combination of work experience and formal professional development.

Established in April 1968, AAPA is the national voice for physician assistants (PAs) in all medical and surgical specialties. Today there are over 115,000 certified PAs in the United States. Approximately 54,000 PAs are members of AAPA; included in this membership number are 15,000 PA students.
