Our Customer Program Delivery department is looking for one highly motivated Project Officer to work within its Program Delivery team.
Develop and deliver initiatives that will enhance the overall customer experience and add value to internal operations.
Lead cross-functional teams through all project stages, towards timely and cost-effective delivery of projects which meet and exceed client requirements.
Collaborate with the business and other project managers to ensure cross-functional dependencies, constraints and risks are communicated to project stakeholders and sponsors.
Apply structured project management and business process improvement techniques towards the successful delivery and roll-out of initiatives.
Develop project management documents and plans within the Project Management framework including Project Charter, Scope, Resourcing, Project Plan, Schedule, Budget, Status Reports, Risk, Communication and Business Requirements, as required.
Proactively identify issues/risks and work with stakeholders for resolution.
Interact with different levels of the organization including Senior Management utilizing strong communication skills.
Location: 20 Bay Street, Toronto
Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience related to the planning, design and implementation of cross functional projects and initiatives.
Project Management Institute certification (PMP) or demonstrated detailed knowledge of Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) would be considered an asset.
Thorough knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of project management, business analysis, business process re-design and change management.
Proficiency in project planning and process management tools (MS Project, MS Visio, etc.).
Outstanding stakeholder engagement, risk assessment and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
Organizational Change experience will be considered as an asset.
