SWIB is seeking an experienced PMO manager to lead its project management office by developing and promoting project management standards, processes, and tools for planning, scheduling, and executing business projects. This position is responsible for the management, monitoring, and reporting of cross-functional and agency-wide project, including program management and multi-project initiatives. This position will manage PMO staff and consultants.
Manage cross-functional and agency-wide projects
Provide program management for multi-project initiatives
Collaborate with business staff, sponsors, consultants, and vendors
Assign and manage program/project resources, budgets, and timelines
Advise senior management about the program/project portfolio, status, and resource planning
Provide effective and timely communication to staff on projects and programs
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to project managers
The State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), created in 1951, is responsible for managing the assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), the State Investment Fund (SIF) and other state trust funds. As of December 31, 2015, SWIB managed over $99 billion in assets.
