Subject Matter Experts and Adjunct Faculty - Project Management and Program/Portfolio Management
The Executive Master’s in Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) program and the Master's in Project Management program (PM) at the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies (scs.georgetown.edu) seeks Subject Matter Experts and Adjunct Faculty members to develop and teach graduate courses within the degree program. Courses for PM and PPM include (but are not limited to): Project and Risk Management, Project Planning, Leadership Development, Program Management Lifecycle, Global Portfolio Management, Governance and Financial Management, Program Evaluation for Improved Decision-Making, and or other courses included in the curriculum.
Candidates must have a master’s degree, however, a doctoral degree is preferred; and a minimum of five to ten years of relevant industry experience and/teaching experience. PMP certification and experience teaching online are also highly desirable. Candidates are expected to bring exceptional industry experience as well as a strong interest for teaching to the team. To help create a proper learning environment, faculty are expected to design the course around specific learning objectives and incorporate various teaching methods, including innovative methods in the online environment.
