Cameco has embarked on a project, Vision in Motion, to clean up, renew and improve the appearance of the Port Hope conversion facility by remediating land inherited from a former federal Crown Corporation. The project will include the removal of older buildings, contaminated soil and historic waste as well of the construction of new buildings.
As a member of Cameco’s major projects department, you will be responsible for ensuring the project team has accurate and timely information regarding project progress, schedule and risk. You will liaise with key stakeholders to ensure progress reports are tracked and communicated in alignment with project schedules. You will prepare and maintain various reporting documents and ensure workface planning procedures are in place and in use. In addition, you will develop, update and maintain construction and commissioning schedules to ensure integration with operations activities, conduct field quantity verification and chair progress update meetings. You will also provide planning support to other small Port Hope conversion facility projects as required.
