How You Will Make a Difference: This position is responsible for the management, coordination, execution and control of new product development projects in accordance to the company goals and project scope.
What You Will Get to Do:
Planning and execution of new product development projects, following the established company processes.
Definition, tracking and controlling of project development outcomes, goals, milestones, metrics and projects targets by using the relevant project management tools.
Creation and tracking of project plans.
Definition of work breakdown structure and identification of resource requirements.
Candidate must be able to communicate and influence cross functional teams to secure project success.
Administration of the project budget and project resources.
Guidance and support to the project team.
Monitoring of project progress and capability to flexibly react on changes in project with adoption of plan to achieve the project goals. • Preparation of reports to update on project status and for issue resolution, including reporting to executive leadership team.
Creation of project audits and analysis of project results.
Creation of “lessons learned“ documents and continuous improvement of the project management processes and tools.
Global travel 25% average
Engineering or Scientific Bachelors degree.
5-10 years related experience. Experience in product development or manufacturing strongly preferred.
3 years minimum professional experience as a trained Professional Project Manager (preferred Certification: PMI®, Project Management Institute)
Expertise in project management in theory and practical experience, preferably with laboratory equipment or water analysis products, including strategic planning and risk management.
Knowledge of state-of-art project management tools, techniques and software tools.
Proven ability to facilitate and implement change management.
Strength in decision making & problem solving.
Experience in managing people from multiple cross functional disciplines.
Team player with strong delegation and communication skills.
Experience dealing with conflict management.
