Work with BAU stakeholders and ABC SMEs to help define and articulate the vision and target end state for the Workstream consistent with the mid-2017 objectives for the Workstream and with the Group's aspiration for financial crime compliance, adopting best industry practice as much as possible
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Define the strategy and interim milestones and objectives for the Workstream consistent with the vision and target end state for the Workstream.
Establish a roadmap to achieve the target end state for the Workstream, leveraging and influencing BAU resources and activities, and other FCRMP initiatives.
Partner closely with ITO functions, Operational Risk, Human Resource, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing, Group Finance, Group Legal, Group Compliance, Group Corporate Development, Group Property and Business (Corporate and Institutional Banking, Retail Banking, and Commercial and Private Banking) and Business COO ("Stakeholders") teams to ensure that the objectives, roadmap and target operating model for the Workstream reflect their feedback and align with ABC requirements.
People and Talent
Lead a direct team of staff to deliver the ABC FCRMP mid-2017 objectives
Manage the career plans of each of these staff, particularly plans immediately post-FCRMP
Ensure FCRMP governance requirements (e.g. PMP, Risk and Issue management, Milestone Tracking, Change Control, Dashboard reporting, PEDs and Closure Reports) are met for the ABC workstream
Manage the agenda of the FCRMP ABC Working Group
Facilitate and engage with appropriate forums to proactively communicate and manage expectations and objectives, and ensure that risks are properly identified and mitigated, and issues are appropriately escalated.
Scope, initiate and, where necessary, lead any further projects and activities required to achieve the mid-2017 objectives and target end state for the Workstream.
Ensure the accountable executive, and ABC subject matter leads of the projects and activities in the Workstream have a clear and shared understanding of the target end state of the Workstream and the contribution of their respective activities to that target end state.
Ensure the provision of ABC subject matter expertise to the project managers and teams.
Prioritise and sequence initiatives. Manage interfaces between different projects and activities within each Workstream.
Constructively challenge the scope, objectives and execution of projects in the Workstream.
Identify and leverage BAU resources to resolve any performance and capability gaps in the Workstream.
Review the resourcing of Workstream activity and, where resourcing constraints are identified, engage relevant stakeholders to ensure adequate resources with appropriate skills and experience are deployed.
Ensure financial discipline in budgeting, forecasting and expenditure in the Workstream.
Ensure all projects within the Workstream are executed on time. Drive a culture of operational excellence across all projects in the Workstream.
Identify and manage dependencies (from and to) between the Workstream and other FCRMP workstreams.
Ensure smooth transition to BAU mode at the end of each project in the Workstream.
Collaborate with Stakeholders to assess the impact of Workstream activities and target end state on BAU resourcing and processes to ensure resourcing and technology requirements are understood, anticipated and provided for and changes are effectively embedded in BAU.
Establish a strong rapport and open lines of communication with stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact for stakeholders on all issues relating to the Workstream.

Qualifications and Skills
The incumbent will ideally possess the following specific experiences:
No technical qualification required (PMP or equivalent desirable)
10+ years of experience in an international banking environment
People and process management skills, ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at appropriate level ensuring open collaborative environment.
Ability to deliver outcomes efficiently despite complexity and ambiguity
Demonstrated relationship building skills - both internal and external across multiple jurisdictions
