Bachelor's degree with a major in computer science, business, or related field from an accredited institution with one year relevant experience desirable, or two years of higher education with two years of related experience required. Professional development certifications preferred. Certification examples include Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation, ITIL Intermediate, ITIL Expert, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), Project Management Institute Certified, Associate in Project Management (PMI CAPM), Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI ACP), or Project Management Professional (PMP). A combination of education, experience, certifications, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Assists the department by providing basic programming, reporting, integration, and analytical support services for the Education Advisory Board (EAB) Student Success Collaborative (SSC) Campus technology "My Success Planner,"
other third-party applications, and internal programming.
Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):
The ERP Analyst is responsible for project tracking and control for assigned modules or systems (EAB SSC Campus), serving as liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution. Serves as the primary technical and functional point of contact for daily operations and requests related to "My Success Planner." Provides application administration and develops strategies for managing application functionality to optimize user experience. Manages users, roles, permissions and interface design; processes requests for special groups (e.g., SAM Center, Academic Affairs, Bearkat One Card); Analyzes and processes requests for individual users (e.g., creates and manages campaigns, runs reports, etc.); and determines workflow needed in a given unit. Develops and delivers training and communications related to the product. Provides demonstrations, functionality and other information across campus. Provides regularly scheduled training for staff users. Must maintain current knowledge of advising policies and practices. Provides troubleshooting support for the application and coordinates with IT to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the Student Information System (SIS) integration. Performs other related duties as assigned.
