Posting Summary: The Managerial Reporting Project (MRP) at the University of Virginia (entails the university-wide rollout of multiple enterprise wide applications and a robust data environment in support of improved internal reporting capabilities. Our project team uses a hybrid Agile approach to software and reporting development, a stakeholder-focused and incremental approach to delivering value early and often. The existing team comprises individuals responsible for data stewardship, decision support, reporting technologies, change management and project support.
We seek to hire a dynamic person to lead the change management planning, training, user support, and general outreach/communications for the initiative. The ideal candidate will have human resources domain expertise, deep knowledge of process re-engineering as well as experience planning for large-scale change including technology implementations and user support within a complex and diverse organization.
**This is a restricted-term position projected for the duration of the University's Managerial Reporting Project**
Key areas of responsibility: - Manage the training and outreach function currently a team of five staff members within the core project team which includes staff comprised of training developers, community management, and communications - Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive change management plan in partnership with the project team and other leadership including: -Organizational readiness assessment, stakeholder engagement planning and monitoring - Direct responsibility for training development and delivery in partnership with the project leadership team, and other organizations responsible for training across grounds - Leadership in development and delivery of needed modifications to institutional role descriptions - Overseeing the planning and execution of applicable training, and procedural changes as it relates to the outcomes of the project scope and affected employees - Ensure efforts within the project scope adhere to HR policies and procedures - Serve as key point of contact regarding HR and training matters outside of direct project team (with, for example, Finance Outreach and Compliance, UHR , Ufirst, University HR managers, etc.) - Partner with the project leadership to develop and implement needed policy and procedural changes in support of the project outcomes - Leadership in coordinating launch planning, timing with the project management team and other large scale initiative leaders - Direct responsibility for stakeholder engagement & communications - Primary owner of end user support - Owner within the project team for external website development and support for : http://managerialreporting.virginia.edu/ http://ubi.virginia.edu/
