Pipeline Project Manager Jobs - Houston, TX

The challenge? Help to meet the ever increasing global demand for energy. Our Pipeline Project Manager position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our clients provide a safe and reliable source of energy to heat homes, fuel automobiles and move goods and services in support of millions of people worldwide. Each day you will have overall responsibilities for project management, development, client interaction, scheduling, budgeting and staff supervision.

You should be a self-motivated Pipeline Project Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience in energy pipeline design and construction with responsibility for the overall direction and performance of project teams on design and/or design - build projects in the oil and gas industry.

Our Pipeline Project Managers:


  • Participates in business development activities and manages client relationships

  • Possesses a general understanding of process systems, utilities and infrastructure within oil and gas pipeline and terminals facilities

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

  • Effectively manages change

  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

  • Reviews and coordinates deliverables prepared by team before passing to client

  • Understands common risk factors and works to minimize our exposure on projects

  • Advises management of developments that may affect project profit, costs, schedules, and client relations

  • Conducts regular project reviews with project staff, senior management and client

  • Manages project budget and financial forecasts

  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization

  • Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor

  • Inspires co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence


Qualifications:

  • 15 years experience in design and construction of pipelines in oil and gas industry

  • 10 years experience in a management/supervisory role in pipelines in oil and gas industry

  • 10 years of experience in positions of responsibility for overall direction and performance of project teams on design and or design- build projects in the oil and gas industry
