Our Client Service Manager jobs provide you with an opportunity to work on exciting and large-scale water, wastewater and water resource projects. Each day, you will be the face of CH2M HILL as you become the lead contact for our clients and take primary responsibility for overall work progress.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth of CH2M HILL's Water Business Group in the Louisiana area. This position may also involve serving as a senior project manager on small to large size projects as well as serving as the leader/manager of project teams, supported by technical task leads and sub-consultants, as needed. A senior project manager must be adept at building and managing widely dispersed project teams. The ultimate candidate will be ready to work for a progressive, high-energy company, within a team-oriented office environment. You should be a self-motivated professional with 10 - 15 years of successful principle client service/project management experience, capable of being a leader in the sales efforts on any project, be familiar with the target market, and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each project management job and business development pursuit.

Our Client Service Managers:

• Develop relationships, serve as the primary interface with clients and ensure that CH2M HILL has a sustained relationship with the clients.


• Work to achieve complete client satisfaction with our work and will fully leverage our relationships to benefit both the client and the firm.


• Understand the client's organizational structure, decision-making styles and processes; will develop and maintain consistent relationships with key decision-makers at both staff and political levels.


• Create tactical action plans along with establishing and managing budgets.


• Develop strategies to expose the client to the full-range of capabilities offered by the firm while maintaining an understanding of regulations and other external drivers that may affect the client.


• Identify opportunities to influence and create the client's perception of CH2M HILL and ensure that CH2M HILL is the client's consultant of choice.

The ideal Client Service Manager candidate will also:

• Become an integral part of our team and spend quality time in the Baton Rouge, LA office when not engaged in client activities out of the office.


• Foster skills among project staff through mentoring and coaching.


• Understand CH2M HILL's organization and build an internal network of relationships so as to serve the clients' needs.


• Positively interface between the local clients and often widely dispersed CH2M HILL project teams and resources.


• Promote success in business development: identifying, establishing, and managing strategic client relationships, translating client needs into CH2M HILL projects, and gathering resources and building effective project delivery teams to help win and deliver work.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline


• A minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience


• PE license in the State of Louisiana
