Water/Wastewater Engineer - Toronto, Ontario

The challenge? Help provide and sustain clean water resources around the world. Our Toronto, Ontario office has an exciting opportunity for a bright and energetic engineer to join a dynamic team. As a contributing member of a project team, you will perform a variety of tasks requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles. You will have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills as well as collaborate with our regional water engineering staff to support projects in the water and wastewater engineering markets. Our projects cover a wide range of topics including water treatment and infrastructure design, storm and conveyance, and wastewater treatment and infrastructure design, basement flooding, water resources and construction services to name a few. Your work could involve technical study, computer modeling, technical report writing, engineering design and construction services support.

You should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. A candidate with a Masters degree along with internship or co-op experience is desired. Educational or Internship experience should include water resources, collection systems, Water and Wastewater Process Design, along with a strong hydraulics background. We are seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communications and good organizational skills. Strong data analysis skills, technical problem solving ability, and multitasking ability will contribute to your success. You should have excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite) as well as a desire to grow both personally and professionally with this engineering opportunity.

2 to 3 years of one of these areas Water Resources, Potable Water Process, Wastewater Process, or civil / modelling / municipal engineering (municipal flooding, stormwater, detail design of conveyance)
