Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Drive development of detailed integration plans, a successful Day 1 operation, and post-merger stabilization

Lead team in defining post-signature objectives, key initiatives, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans

Drive development of detailed post-close integration blueprints and execution plans

Drive creation of change management, talent retention, and cultural integration plans

Design and manage integration plans for all key functions

Build relationships with executives in Development, IT, Finance, HR, Operations, Corporate, and at acquisition target

Create hierarchy of priorities based on integration synergy targets

Use best-practice tools (.mpp, Gantt charts, web-based resources, etc.) to drive transparency and information sharing

Lead communications to all key constituencies

Lead execution of integration plans to achieve strategic rationale, key milestones, and performance objectives

Lead team in designing and tracking to metrics and KPIs dictated by integration plans

Set cadences for regular post-integration meetings

Work with HR to drive rewards ad accountability based on targets and milestones

Escalate as necessary if performance to plan is off track

The following skills and experiences are necessary to be successful in this role…

Must have experience project-managing acquisitions of targets >$10M by companies >$200M

Targeted and direct communication style; flawless verbal and written presentations

Advanced proficiency with Project Management tools such as MS Project timelines, Visio workflow diagrams, budgets, and Windows Office tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to clearly communicate technical information Ability to plan, execute, and control a project, establishing realistic estimates and reporting metrics Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills Strong multi-tasking, results-oriented skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, flexible Bachelor’s degree is required; graduate degree preferred PMP certification preferred
