CH2M HILL Design Engineer Careers - Bridge Manger Engineer Job

The challenge? Helping our Edmonton, Alberta communities stay safely on the move. Our Lead Bridge Engineer career path is your opportunity to work on exciting and engaging civil structural projects, primarily bridges. Each day, you will have the opportunity to lead our local structures team in the design of a section of the Golden Ears Bridge. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior and intermediate staff, as well as client relations and proposal writing in our Transportation Business Group. You will build upon 15 years of prior experience in the planning and design of new bridges, rehabilitation, foundations, maritime structures, and larger structures. Ideally you will also have experience with seismic engineering and possess a Masters in Structural Engineering. You are a Professional Engineer who has remained current on bridge technologies with a desire to grow personally and professionally with each bridge design engineering job.

Our Lead Bridge Engineers:

• Possess exceptional client-relationship and interpersonal skills


• Demonstrate success at working within project scope and budget, and experience designing structures to the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (ideally within a design/build environment)


• Fully understand the customers needs and how the project relates to other elements of the clients organization and to other projects


• Frequently contacts internal and external clients


• Contributes extensively with client relationships, business development and business opportunities.
