Providence is calling a Director, Project Management Office The Director, PMO will work closely with the Senior Director, PMO to help set the strategy, policies and practices for Providence Health & Services Regional PMO for Washington and Montana and manage & direct the activities of the staff & department resources for the Physician Services division. The Director will assist the PMO Senior Director in driving the strategic vision, managing change and ensuring that all projects are defined, specified, planned and delivered to meet customer defined value metrics, regulatory mandates and ongoing business requirements. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Project Managers, managing and providing leadership. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes project team success and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission, philosophy, and core values of respect, compassion, justice, excellence and stewardship. Position Specifics. This Full-Time position is located at Providence Health & Services Regional Offices in Renton, WA.

REQUIREMENTS Education: The position requires a Bachelors degree, and 10 years related work experience, or 15 years related work experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience and increasingly responsible performance of duties. Additional certifications or education in the appropriate specialties of PMI/PMP, finance and/or statistics are preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Required to Attend PM101, 201& 301. Required Six Sigma Green Belt. Required PMP certification. Preferred PgMP certification. Experience: 10 years of progressively more responsible project management experience in comparable or larger institution including the management of PMO department, project and program managers. 5 years of experience leading teams consisting of individuals from multiple disciplines. Significant experience in system improvement activities and metrics. Experience working well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines with short time constraints. Experience creating competitive and innovative strategies. Answer the call to fulfill the Mission.
